MMS 2017 Model UNIn our second year back as a group, MMS was represented by 16 total students at the Model UN conference in Columbus on March 12-14. Those students were:

Bahamas
Here is the Resolution that the Bahamas created. It deals with the poaching problem and the pollution problem in their country.
Cuba
Cuba wanted to focus on the problem of hurricanes in their country. They came up with a solution of building shelters.

Cuba presents their resolution in Security Council A during "Round 1" Sunday night.
Cuba had its resolution selected to be presented a second time, this time in Human Rights Council A on Monday. This is awesome because only 33 of the 169 resolutions got to present the second day.
Cuba presents "Martina the Beautiful Cockroach" in their talent showcase Sunday night at OMUN. Unfortunately their skit did not make it to the semifinals.

Uruguay
Uruguay wanted to focus their resolution on the meat packaging problems and pollution problem in their country.
